Footage shows bodies of protesters killed by Iranian security forces at the Kahrizak Forensic Medicine Institute south of Tehran, Iran, on Sunday Jan 11, 2026. The protests began in the capital Tehran a fortnight ago over economic hardship. They have since spread to more than 100 cities and towns across all of Iran's provinces. Hundreds of protesters are believed to have been killed or injured, and many more detained.
